Chock Full O’ Nuts at Aviano Air Base

The famous New York brand Chock full O’ Nuts is now at Aviano airport, important Italian military base used by the U.S. Air Force. The base is 15 km from the city of Pordenone and counts 8.000 resident soldiers and their families, both Americans and Italians.

The environment is strongly international, being it one of the main NATO outposts in the Western World and is provided with all typical infrastructures of a self-sufficient community, such as houses, a hypermarket, schools, shops and a hospital.

CFON perfectly merges with such context and fully satisfies the US soldiers’s need to feel at home. The three brand-new outlets – a coffee shop, a satellite booth and a wonderful truck, are strategically positioned; the latter is located by the operational area, where the F16 take off from, the satellite stands by the military hospital and the coffee shop is in the food court, next to many international brands. The truck is the first branded CFON and others will follow soon.

The offer is mainly addressed to the US clientèle and includes the typical filter coffee, both hot and cold in summer time, a wide selection of pastries and salad snacks. To give a touch of Italian style, there is also place for an espresso in the menu!

The inauguration of Aviano is the fourth in Italy and follows the openings at the US navy military bases of Gricignano and Sigonella and Mestre railway station. Many others are on their way. Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group is doubtlessly the pioneer of the American Style in the Belpaese!
