Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group is pleased to announce an agreement to acquire Café Damasco, a leading Brazilian coffee roaster headquartered in Curitiba, Brazil.

Following a thorough review of all closing transactions, the acquisition is expected to be completed by December 31, 2009. 

With the acquisition of Café Damasco, the Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group becomes Brazil’s fourth largest coffee company and globally will market over 3 million bags of green coffee annually, so becoming the fifth largest coffee producer in the world.
