Segafredo Zanetti recently won the first French championship of coffee tasting. The competition took place in the famous Paris Bercy wine warehouse.
It was organised by the French association "Café Gourmets" and the Fair Trade label Max Havelaar.
The winner of this competition was Ms. Lélia Letin, Segafredo Zanetti France Quality Manager, closely followed by Nadia Dusek, Laboratory Quality Assistant.
The positive result came after a close challenge with the other competitors, who were amongst the most qualified field experts, which made the competition full of suspense.
Lélia Letin will represent France at the World Coffee Taster Cup which will be held in Atlanta in April 2009.
Espresso quality is the core philosophy of Segafredo Zanetti, the only company claiming such an expertise from the plant to the cup.
Each year Segafredo Zanetti France Quality Department tastes more than 10,000 coffee cups to guarantee quality and taste of all its products.
Segafredo Zanetti, world’s espresso leader, has a strong experience in France with more than 3,000 customers. The brand is easily identifiable by the famous red S signed cup.
The company has also a large range of premium coffee blends for the retail and Ho.Re.Ca markets.
This prize rewards the strong commitment of all Segafredo Zanetti’s employees in spreading the Italian espresso culture.
