Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group strengthens its position in Costa Rica by acquiring the coffee roaster Café Montaña S.A. based in Alajuela, a suburb of the capital city of San José.
The group continues in its international expansion, widening its distributing network in the American continent by adding to its structure a new roasting company leader in its market that operates in both the retail and foodservice markets through products of high quality and having among its customers giants like Wal-Mart Costa Rica.

In fact four new brands regarding lines of products produced and marketed by the company have been added to the well known Hills Bros., Chock Full o’Nuts, MJB, Meira, Tiktak, Segafredo Zanetti, just to mention only a few of them:
Café Sierra Madre
The acquisition is part of a plan aimed at strengthening and further develop the group presence in the Central American country, that is an historical producer of high quality green coffees since 1796, where it has already built up solid roots since years through the two well established subsidiary companies just operating in this strategic market sector: Beneficio La Eva and Santa Laura Exportadora de Café.
